To optimize and personalize the exchange within the section, regular workshops and meetings take place.
Every year in fall our "solar specialist" Dieter Goretzki organizes and announces a one-day informal workshop
in Langenselbold close to Hanau/Frankfurt.
Every two years we organize a two-day
conference with presentations, talks, posters and spectrograph techniques from the group and
professional astronomy.
The respective calls as well as the program will be announced in our forum and placed in our
web site.
Meeting language is german. However, anglophones are very welcome and are guided as best as possible.
We speak english
and try to give some simultaneous translation, if necessary.
